Washington, D.C. (Mar. 9, 2018)—Today, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Committee Members Bonnie Watson Coleman sent a letter asking Chairman Trey Gowdy to issue a subpoena to compel officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to produce documents they have been withholding from Congress since November relating to their communications with corporate lobbyists and other matters.
