Press Release

Washington, DC – Today, Ranking Member Elijah E. Cummings sent a letter to Chairman Darrell Issa requesting that the Committee invite Ann Barron-DiCamillo, the Director of the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) within the Department of Homeland Security, to testify at Thursday’s Full Committee hearing entitled “Examining ObamaCare’s Failures in Security, Accountability and Transparency.”

“US-CERT leads efforts to improve the nation’s cybersecurity posture and manage cyber risks to the nation,” Cummings wrote.  “As the Director of the office that investigates cybersecurity incidents at federal agencies, Ms. Barron-DiCamillo will be able to provide valuable insight into the nature and frequency of cybersecurity attacks against federal IT systems, as well as US-CERT’s investigation of the recent intrusion into HealthCare.gov.”
