United States Postal Service recently unveiled new 60 cent Alzheimer's research postal stamp with revenue from sales going to NIH

Senator Markey will introduce legislation in the Senate to make the stamp available for six years

Washington (December 6, 2017) – Senators Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.), Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.V.), and U.S. Representatives Elijah Cummings (MD-07) and Maxine Waters (CA-43) will hold a press conference TODAY, Thursday, December 7 to discuss the importance of research funding and highlight the availability of a new Alzheimer's research semipostal stamp. They will be joined by Alzheimer's disease patients, researchers, caregivers and advocates to introduce bipartisan legislation in the Senate. The House of Representatives introduced companion legislation in June. The stamp will be in rotation for two years, while the House and Senate legislation would make the stamp available for six years.
